Look Hot

  •  Take care of your face and skin. Taking care of your skin and face can be hard because everyone’s skin is different. You can have oily skin, dry skin, sensitive skin, or acne. Which is why it is important to experiment with different face care products, or little things to do by yourself and find one that fits you.
  •  For people with dry skin: if your skin is so dry to the point that its flaking off; in the shower, or with warm water in the sink, take a washcloth and rub the extremely dry areas on you face with a little soap on the washcloth. Dry, and then apply toner and lotion afterwards, to your whole face. If your skin isn’t as dry, then just apply the toner, and a good moisturizing lotion. Sun lotions (for after tanning) are the most hydrating.
  •  For people with oily skin: “Neutrogena” brand skin products have good skin products that act as a “dryer” for your skin. They have Neutrogena kits at Ulta stores, drug stores, department stores, or you can look online.
  •  For people with acne: If you don’t wish to use any acne creams, then try washing your face in warm water in the morning and before bed. Changing your pillow case is another biggie; it holds onto old dirt, oil, and makeup from your face, and then you expose your face on it. Also, trying Proactive is something that seems to be working for a lot of people. If you want to get rid of surprise breakouts, try a product that guarantees quick pimple elimination.
  • For the rest of your skin, always moisturize, and smell good. Always use sunscreen, and take showers daily.

Very usefull Tips

 Cosmetic Tips

Make-up timeline
To ensure your eyes stay healthy and free of infection when using make-up, heed the following due-date rules. Throw out your mascara after three months, powder eye shadows every nine to 18 months, and cream eye shadows every six to 12 months. Sharpen your eyeliners often to keep them clean.

  Mascara mistakes
To avoid mascara flake-off or smudging on your face, apply a thin cost of mascara to top lashes only. Then run an eyelash brush through lashes to prevent clumpy mascara build-up.

Get a rosy glow
Want your face to radiate a healthy glow? Try using a gel blush or cream (instead of powder) in a rosy shade of pink to create a more natural look. Gels or creams are more transparent and blend smoothly – rub it on the apples of your cheek and blend up towards the eye for a glowing complexion.

Minute manicure
Need a fast fix for unpolished nails? File nails into a square shape, buff them to create a bit of shine and apply a clear coat of polish. Next rub in cuticle oil around the edges of the nail and moisturize your whole hand. It takes less than 15 minutes and will give your appearance a polished look.

Brow etiquette

The trend in eyebrows for this season is natural looking, not sparse and skinny. Use a tinted brow definer or eye shadow to fill in scanty brows.

Fix tired feet
Pamper your tired feet with a luxurious footbath. Fill a basin with warm water and add a few drops of essential oils. Next place marbles or small stones (found at your local garden centre) into the basin. Run your toes and soles of your feet over the marbles, and relax for 15 minutes.

Eye/lip pencil care
Before sharpening your eyeliner or lip pencil, place them in the freezer for 10 minutes. They will harden slightly and not break when sharpened.

Eyeliner hint
Women with deep-set eyes should use liquid liner instead of regular pencil eyeliner, to prevent smudging in the crease of the lid. Liquid liner does not smudge as easily.

Nail polish know-how
Is your nail polish from last season too thick? Chances are the polish has begun to thicken at the bottom of the bottle. Add a bit of nail polish thinner to the bottle to get the maximum use of your nail polish.

Foundation tester
When picking out a concealer or foundation, always test the colour on the inside of your wrist. The skin there is the most unblemished and will give you a good idea of how it will look on your face. Extend your foundation
Want to extend the life of your foundation and cut down on heavy concealer? Mix a drop of it with your natural moisturizer to create a luminescent look for your skin.

Curl your lashes
Before curling your eyelashes, heat the curler with a hair dryer for a few seconds. Test to make sure it is not too hot, then apply to eyelashes. The heat will lock in the curl on extra long eyelashes.

Foundation secret
Apply foundation to your face after you have done your eye make-up. This helps you to fix any last minute smudging from mascara or eyeliner under the eyes.

Lipstick trick
Love matte lipstick, but feel your dry lips wreck the look? Apply a lip balm to lips before starting your make-up routine. By the time you have done your eyes and rest of the face, your lips will be moisturized and ready for the matte lipstick.

Manicure tip
If you have been sloppy applying nail polish, simply soak nails (when dry) in warm water for a few minutes and then rub off extra nail polish gently with a finger.

Keep your cosmetics fresh
Makeup does have an expiry date! It might not be written on the packaging, but there will come a time when your cosmetics won’t be as vibrant, smooth or nice to wear as they used to be. Not only is it a good sign that you’re possibly in the wrong season, it’s also important if you want to be looking your best! Keep your makeup rotated every 6 months or so.

Make sure you’re wearing the right cosmetics for your skin tone
The tragic flaw many people make when buying cosmetics is not matching them to their skin tone. This makes it almost impossible when trying to find the right foundation and concealer, but it also affects the lipstick and eye shadow you should be wearing. There are ways to determine skin tone, and you should base your cosmetics selections around the right tone:

Ruddy skin tone
is associated with burning easily, but also with becoming easily flushed or pink-cheeked.

Yellow skin tones respond poorly to yellowish foundation and concealer and make the skin look more flawed than it did before.

Yellow-olive skin tone is easily identified because it’s mainly found in people who tan easily and don’t burn often. So if you come in from the beach a shade other than bright red, yellow-olive is you!

Olive skin tones are slightly gray or ashen, do not burn easily and have greenish undertones.

Neutral skin tone has no obvious yellow, olive or ruddy tones, nor any features of these skin tones.

Cosmetics counter assistants will be able to assist you in determining your skin tone, and also offer you the best options for cosmetics and colors. Similarly, you will find great tips just by looking through fashion magazines: ruddy skin responds well to earthy colors such as browns, greens, corals and reds; medium yellow and ruddy skin tones go well with both light and dark browns; darker olive skin looks great in more vibrant shades of ruby and cherry; and dark skin tones love more natural, soft pinks, corals and browns.

Wearing the ‘wrong’ cosmetics for your skin tone can result in you looking washed out, accentuating blemishes and otherwise causing flawed skin.

For your EYES only

Published by dharmesh under Beuty Tips Edit This

These days, there are tons of mascaras that promise you super long lashes, separation and thickness. Unfortunately, these products don’t work for most of the time. That’s why you need to adopt a good technique to get the most out of your lashes and maximize them to the fullest. So here is how to get the most out of your lashes:

Step 1: Use an eyelash curler to curl the base of your lashes first. Hold for 15 seconds. If you find that your lashes don’t curl as easily, heat your eyelashes curler with a blowdrier for a few seconds and try again.

Step 2: After you’ve curled the base, use your lash curler at the halfway point of your lashes. Hold for another 15 seconds.

Step 3: The final step involves curling your lashes at the tips to get the maximum lash curl. Hold for 15 seconds yet again and release.

Swipe on a lenghening mascara such as Lise Watier 24hrs Glam Mascara or Maybelline Stiletto.

 Exfoliate daily. After washing your face at night, be sure to exfoliate. Use a delicate scrub. If you don’t have one on hand, a tablespoon of sugar or oatmeal will work just fine.
 Use facial masks regularly. If possible everyday is ideal. Again, If you don’t have one on hand, make your own. Mashed banana is good. Plain yogurt also works well.
 Hydrate your face throughout the day. Whether it’s a commercial product, or one you make yourself  (fill a spray bottle with distilled water add a few drops of chamomile or rose essential oil, shake it gently before each use, and spray it on ) hydrate your face, even over makeup, frequently throughout the day.
